The reformed THROWING MUSES have confirmed details of their comeback album - and singer KRISTIN HERSH will release her sixth solo album the same day.

Both 'Throwing Muses' and 'The Grotto' will be released on March 17 via 4AD.

The Muses record - the band's first since 1996's 'Limbo' - features the line-up of singer Kristin Hersh, drummer David Narcizo and bassist Bernard Georges. Tanya Donelly, who quite the band after 1991's 'The Real Ramona' to form Belly, sings backing vocals on five tracks.
