The Thurston Moore Band announce UK tour dates

Band features former members of Sonic Youth and My Bloody Valentine

Thurston Moore, Sonic Youth American indie poster boy even now he’s pushing 50, his guitar playing and singing style has defined US alternative music for years. And he pulled Kim Gordon.
Thurston Moore has announced UK tour plans with his new group, The Thurston Moore Band.

The group, which consists of the former Sonic Youth man alongside Debbie Googe of My Bloody Valentine, former Sonic Youth drummer Steve Shelley and Chrome Hoof guitarist James Sedwards, will release their album 'The Best Day' on October 21.

Following the release of 'The Best Day', The Thurston Moore Band will hit the road with gigs in London, Bristol, Manchester and Glasgow confirmed. The five-date tour will end in Nottingham on November 12.

The Thurston Moore Band will play:

London, Islington Assembly Hall (November 7)
Bristol, Fleece (8)
Manchester, Gorilla (9)
Glasgow, Art School (11)
Nottingham, Bodega (12)
