TIM FOR SOME MORE RARITIES

More unheard TIM BUCKLEY material has been unearthed and will feature on a forthcoming compilation.

The album, 'Tim Buckley - The Dream Belongs To Me' is released on June 4 via Manifesto Records, and the latest release follows a renewed interest in the '60s icon.

The two unreleased songs, 'Falling Timber' and 'The Dream Belongs To Me', were recorded during a demo session for his 'Sefronia' album in February 1973.

The rest of the compilation is taken from the same session, as well as six rare tracks recorded in the summer of 1968, between the releases of his 'Goodbye And Hello' and 'Happy Sad' albums.

The track listing runs: 'Song To The Siren'
'Sing A Song For You'
'Ashbury Park'
'Danang'
'Buzzin' Fly'
'Seafronia'
'Because Of You'
'The Dream Belongs To Me'
'Falling Timber'
'Stone In Love'
'Freeway Dixieland Rocketship Blues'
'Honey Man'
'Quicksand'

Last month, a comprehensive anthology of Buckley's material, entitled 'Morning Glory - The Tim Buckley Anthology', was released.

Buckley died in June 1975 from a heroin overdose. Father of Jeff Buckley, Tim is considered one of the most inspirational and experimental musicians of his generation.
