Timbaland previews forthcoming album
'Shock Value' streams from super producer's website
Timbaland is previewing his forthcoming album in its entirety from his MySpace page.
The super-producer who masterminded recent hits from Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado has recruited an all-star cast for 'Shock Value'.
The album, which is due out April 4, features notable collaborators including Timberlake, Furtado, Jay-Z and MIA, as well as more unexpected guests such as Fall Out Boy, The Hives, She Wants Revenge and Elton John, as previously reported.
"It's some different type of shit," Timbland said at a recent listening party for the album. "It ain't just rap, it's some of everything."
The album's lead single, 'Give It To Me', features vocals from Furtado and Timberlake alongside rapping from Timbaland.
Timbaland has also announced performances at Philadelphia's Wachovia Center tonight (March 27), and the Continental Airlines Arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey on March 29.
He's set to appear on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno on April 2.
As previously reported, Timbaland is working with Coldplay on their fourth studio album.
