Timbaland arrested following German bar brawl
Producer spends time behind bars in Cologne
Super-producer Timbaland was arrested at the weekend, following a bar fight which resulted in hospital treatment.
The man known as ‘Robert F’ was reportedly admitted to hospital following the bust-up, which broke out after he objected to his girlfriend talking to the producer.
TMZ.com is reporting that the man was allegedly attacked outside a hotel in Cologne, Germany after a Justin Timberlake performance. Timbaland is a longtime Timberlake collaborator, having worked with the star on many of his best-known tracks including ‘Sexyback’ and ‘Cry Me A River’.
The report says that Timbaland became embroiled in the fight after the man shouted racist slurs.
The producer was taken to jail and released on bail early Monday morning.
