A STAPLES DIET!

Five of the group's most heralded efforts are given a big makeover...

Tindersticks are to released expanded editions of the five studio albums they recorded for ISLAND between 1993 and 1999.

'Tindersticks' (1st), 'Tindersticks' (2nd), 'Curtains', 'Nenette Et Boni' and 'Simple Pleasure' will all feature an extra CD of material, sleevenotes and enhanced packaging when they are reissued on June 19. Initial quantities will come in slip cases.

The debut album, 'Tindersticks', will feature an extra CD of demos the band recorded between November 1991 and November 1992 in the house they shared in north London.

The second album, also called 'Tindersticks', will feature a bonus CD comprising the band's legendary Bloomsbury Theatre gig in London in 1995.

'Curtains'' extra CD contains the long-deleted 'Bathtime' EP, the 'Rented Rooms' single, and orchestral versions of 'For Those' and 'A Marriage Made In Heaven', which features Isabella Rosselini.

'Nenette Et Boni' comes with the bonus disc 'Mark's Moods', an American-only promo compilation described as the rarest item in the band's back catalogue.

'Simple Pleasure' comes with a bonus disc featuring 11 demos and an Adrian Sherwood mix of 'I Know That Loving'.

Tindersticks headline the Acoustic Tent at the Glastonbury Festival on Friday June 25.
