You can hear a song from 'The Hungry Saw' now

Tindersticks are to release their first album in five years.

'The Hungry Saw' is out on April 28, and is the belated follow-up to 2003’s 'Waiting For The Moon'.

The band has been stripped back to a core trio of singer Stuart Staples, guitarist Neil Fraser and keyboard player David Boulter. On the new LP they have been helped out by Thomas Belhorn on drums and Dan McKinna on bass.

New album track 'The Flicker Of A Little Girl' is available as a download MP3 on the band’s MySpace page at myspace.com/tindersticks.

The Shockwaves NME Awards 2008 are coming soon – and it’s time to have your say. Vote now by heading to NME.COM/awardsvote and you could win VIP tickets to the ceremony, which takes place in London on February 28.
