Tinie Tempah fans might have to wait a while for the follow-up to his debut album 'The Disc-Overy', as he wants to concentrate on making it big in the US first.

The rapper, who is currently number 14 in the US Billboard charts with 'Written In The Stars', was set to bring out his second record when he tours the UK in November - but it's now being pushed to next year, according to one newspaper.

A source told the Daily Star: "As much as he wants to get new music out to his fans he doesn’t want to short-change them, so the album will come in the new year."

The source added that, with the royal wedding this week, US fans seem to be rather obsessed with the moment Tinie spoke to Will and Kate backstage at the Radio One Big Weekend last year.

They said: "All the Americans want to ask Tinie is about meeting the royals. They’re overwhelmed at the story of Wills declaring himself a big fan of 'Pass Out' and as a tale to regurgitate it’s a pretty brilliant one, so Tinie doesn’t mind in the slightest repeating it."

Tinie is returning for Radio One's Big Weekend this year on May 14 in Carlisle, and is set for V Festival and T In The Park in the summer.
