Tinie Tempah has announced details of a UK arena tour to take place in December.

The rapper will play 11 shows on the arena tour including a date at London's 02 Arena on December 18. Starting at Aberdeen AECC on December 2, Tinie Tempah will then play gigs in Manchester, Leeds, Nottingham, Glasgow, Newcastle, Liverpool, Cardiff, Bournemouth and Birmingham before ending the run in London.

The rapper will release the follow up to his 2010 debut 'Disc-Overy' later this year, and has already debuted the first track, 'Trampoline' featuring 2 Chainz. Speaking to NME in this week's issue, the rapper revealed that the album will feature several big name guest stars, including his childhood hero Dizzee Rascal. "To finally be able to do a track with Dizzee, sounding the way I used to hear him, is fucking amazing," Tempah said.

Tempah also opened up about his time in the studio with Pharrell Williams, recalling: "The first day I went into his studio I was really run down. Pharrell had Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey on a massive projector, head down working. I walked in and was, like, 'Fuck, this is Pharrell and I'm so tired and I look like shit." Continuing, Tempah said that the track the pair worked on is "not what you would expect at all – it's Pharrell's take on dubstep, all dark and grimy and crazy".

Tinie Tempah will play:

Aberdeen Aecc (December 2)
Manchester Phones 4u Arena (5)
Leeds First Direct Arena (6)
Nottingham Capital FM Arena (8)
Glasgow Hydro (9)
Newcastle Arena (11)
Liverpool Echo Arena (12)
Cardiff Motorpoint Arena (13)
Bournemouth BIC (15)
Birmingham LG Arena (16)
London 02 Arena (18)
