Duo promise 'fun, surprises and special guests'
Tiny Masters Of Today are celebrating the release of their debut album ‘Bang Bang Boom Cake’ with a special record release party this Saturday (September 29).
The duo – 13-year-old Ivan on guitar and vocals, and his 11-year-old sister Ada on bass and vocals - formed three years ago, with their 2006 three-song EP ‘Big Noise’ selling out soon after its release.
Guests on the album include Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ Karen O and Nick Zinner, ’ Kimya Dawson, ’ frontman Fred Schneider and Gibby Haynes of Butthole Surfers. Plus, Russell Simmins of Jon Spencer Blues Explosion frequently joins the pair as their live drummer.
Saturday’s show will feature fellow youngsters Eyeball Skeleton as well as "fun, surprises and special guests", and takes place from 2 to 5pm at Union Hall in Brooklyn.
‘Bang Bang Boom Cake’ was released earlier this week (September 25).
