Canadian upstarts will appear on Letterman

Tokyo Police Club are set to make their US TV debut on The Late Show with David Letterman on April 19.

The Canadian quartet have been making waves in the US with their debut EP ‘A Lesson In Crime’, and were included on a list of NME’s favourite band’s at CMJ last year.

This weekend the band will play two shows at New York’s Bowery Ballroom opening for Cold War Kids, as well as a show with Ra Ra Riot at the city’s Mercury Lounge on Monday (April 9). In addition to slots at Coachella and Sasquatch! the band will embark on a US tour kicking off July 16 in Grand Rapids, MI.
