Tokyo Police Club complete Disney-influenced album
'Champ' has 'one saxophone note,' according to frontman Dave Monks
Tokyo Police Club are putting the finishing touches to new album 'Champ', according to singer Dave Monks.
Tracks understood to be on the album include 'Wait Up (Boots Of Danger)', 'End Of A Spark' and 'Not Sick'. Another new track, 'Breakneck Speed', is available to listen to at Tokyopoliceclub.com.
The album is set to be released in June, and Monks said it features: "11 songs, a Disney character, fuzzy bits, Canadian spelling, ice hockey sound effects, me singing the lowest note in my range, one saxophone note".
