Tom Jones to headline British Summer Time festival
Tom Jones is set to headline this year's British Summer Time festival.

The event will take place in London's Hyde Park on Sunday July 13, and see the veteran singer supported by a pop bill that includes Boyzone, Little Mix, 10cc and the Bootleg Beatles. Of the headline slot, Jones said in a statement: "I love playing in Hyde Park, it's such a beautiful place and so many of the greats have played there. There is a real sense of musical history and a fantastic atmosphere that comes with playing in the middle of a great London park on a wonderful summer evening."

There will be a host of different British Summer Time events in Hyde Park, with Black Sabbath heading up the bill on July 4 with Soundgarden and Faith No More and Neil Young and The National playing on July 12.

Ahead of his London date, Tom Jones will be supporting Morrissey in the United States, at LA's Los Angeles Sports Arena on May 10. Meanwhile, Cliff Richard will open for the former Smiths man at Brooklyn's Barclays Center on June 21. In a statement, Morrissey said he was "honoured and thrilled" to have Jones and Richard on the bills.
