Tom Waits to release one-off single for Record Store Day
The vinyl release will be out on Saturday (April 18)
Tom Waits will release a live seven-inch single on Saturday (April 18) to mark Record Store Day.
The release will feature live versions of the songs 'Lucinda' and 'Ain't Going Down The Well' recorded at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta in July last year. The b-side will be a live version of 'Bottom Of The World', recorded live at the Edinburgh Playhouse, the gig which also took place in July 2008.
"The record store is the livery stable where I can tie up, feed and groom my ears," Waits said in a statement, explaining why he chose to issue the release to promote independent record stores.
