Seriously? Is there anyone who's actually decent playing?? I'm seriously considering cancelling my ticket - what a shower of shite!! As someone who's wanted to go glasto for many many years and has finally managed to sort it, i've got to say that so far I am very very disappointed with the line-up. I might ask my gran if she want's my ticket - it's more her cup o tea... and she's dead!!

So you're basing your opinion on 5 artists? Maybe wait for the full announcement to make a judgement? Just a thought...

Glastonbury is so huge and varied that the headliner acts for one single stage out of over a dozen stages aren't really that relevant in the grand scheme of things as if you don't like any of the acts on one of the stages you are virtually guaranteed there will be someone you want to see elsewhere.morons like these two who bitch and moan and whine about the headline acts of the main stages of festivals are just plain dumb if that is all they pay to go to festivals for.they are basically demanding their money back based on 2 or 3 announced acts out of what will be over 100 acts easily.if you don't like the headline acts on the pyramid stage then you still have the option of the headliners for the other stage, jazzworld stage, leftfield stage, john peel stage and several dance stages/tents all of these stages will have top artists that would quite easily grace the main stages of any other festivals.as for Tony Christie he is just gonna be a early afternoon singalong novelty acts and the festival should not be judged on such bookings, if that were the case then you best be prepared to cry like little bitches some more when the likes of Chas and Dave and Rolf Harris get announced.

..ncconnor / gary brearley - if you don't appreciate the genius of CSN & Neil Young alone then maybe you should check out the shower of new indie shit @ the likes of V festival.....i'l have a ticket off either of yers...

Jesus, calm down. There are still loads of acts to be announced. Springsteen and Neil Young, and you're complaining? nconnor, you say you've wanted to go for years, now you get the chance to see 2 of the greatest headliners they've ever had, and you're disappointed. You don't seem to have any idea about the spirit of Glastonbury. They always have classic acts mixed in with newer bands. Maybe you'd be more at home with the dull and predictable Reading line-up.

Correct me if i am wrong.....but wasnt Eavis bleating on about getting younger acts in, as he felt the last 2 years Glasto was too 'middle aged'? Seems to me, hes forgotton all that pretty rapid. You cant knock him i guess. He does an awful lot for 'Charity Mate'.

Good to see Glasto have got someone on the same level as Jay-Z then.

Well, fuck me. I've gone n opened a big ole' can o' worms here!Firstly, I'm basing my opinion on the headline acts, yes - because after years and years of seeing amazing bands headline mediocre festivals, I really wanted to see a band I love headline the main stage at Glasto. And yes, chrispaz, I am disappointed - Springsteen n Young aren't my cup of tea, and Blur are still gonna be the pretentious twats they always were. Not sure about what 'new indie shit' gazhat is on about - aren't oasis headlining V?Willy Plonka's got it nail on the head, where's the good stuff? I really hope that this mysterious 4th headliner Eavis was on about is something special...

gingerboosh what the fuck are you on? "i do like listening to neil young though he's not festival headlining material, bruce is boring", you have a lot to learn in the world of music, you should team up with ncconnor as the pair of you are full of shit, seeing Neil Young live is such an amazing experience that you'll remember it for the rest of your life, you pair probably wouldn't get it though, it wouldn't be poppy enough for you...

Performing to 100 fans, the 'Amarillo' crooner sang his 'Made In Sheffield' album - due out November 11 - in full. The album was the brainchild of Richard Hawley and features songs written by fellow Sheffieldonians Arctic Monkeys and Jarvis Cocker. Pic: BBC
