Peter Saville joins tributes to Tony Wilson

Renown British designer Peter Saville has made tribute to Tony Wilson who died today (August 10).

Saville worked for the legend’s Factory Records, producing iconic sleeves for the likes of Joy Division and New Order

“Tony was an intellectual in popular culture and he brought greatness and importance to it and it was important,” he told Newsnight. “He changed it and built it up.”
