Tony Wilson Experience asks for volunteers for 24-hour debate

'Creative' individuals asked to join in

Reification - The Tony Wilson Experience have called for submissions from creative people to take part in a 24-hour debate which will serve as a memorial to the braodcaster.

Billed as "Manchester's longest ever intelligent conversation", the organisation is asking for submissions for the debate which will run non-stop for 24 hours from midday on Saturday June 21.

The want 200 'talented individuals' who will be chosen for the debate which according to Manchester City Council's Vicky Rosin will "help (creative young people) unlock their future potential".

Online submissions from creative and talented individuals aged over 18 are being accepted at Tonywilsonexperience.com submissions are open for three weeks and close on May 11.

Wilson passed away in August of last year after suffering a heart attack while receiving treatment for cancer.
