Travis' Fran Healy confirms Paul McCartney collaboration Get Tickets

The former Beatle plays bass on his upcoming solo album

The fact that the 'Hoxton Fin' was in fashion in the late-90s gave Fran Healy a handy means of disguising his encroaching baldness.
Travis' Fran Healy has revealed that Paul McCartney is set to feature on his upcoming debut solo album.

With a working title of 'Wreckorder', the album includes McCartney playing bass on one of the tracks.

"One of the biggest coups was getting Paul McCartney to play bass on a song," Healy wrote on his blog at FranHealy.com. "I'm not sure what non-McCartney songs he's played bass on but I couldn't think of many. Anyways his bassline is brilliant."

A release date for the album, which is also set to include a duet with Neko Case, is yet to be announced.
