Trent Reznor files for restraining order against neighbour

He apparently told the Nine Inch Nails founder that Satan would get him

Trent Reznor has filed for a restraining order against his neighbour, it has been reported.

The Nine Inch Nails founding member and his family have been harassed by their neighbour Nader Afshar for months, according to TMZ. His alleged behaviour has led Reznor to file a restraining order to keep him away.

The report states that the police had to get involved after six months of threatening and irrational behaviour. Afshar has allegedly ranted that “rich people can do anything they want, but the Lord will get them in the end,” and said that Satan will get Reznor.

A judge is said to have agreed to keep Afshar at least 10 yards away from Reznor, his family and employees – with a court hearing is due to take place next month.

Meanwhile, Nine Inch Nails have confirmed their first show of 2018 – Madrid’s Mad Cool Festival.

The band, who most recently released the EP ‘Add Violence’ back in July (the second part of a trilogy of releases), will join the likes of Queens of the Stone AgeDepeche Mode and Massive Attack. Arctic Monkeys have also been rumoured to take to the stage at the festival with the release of their new album looming.

Earlier this month, fans of Nine Inch Nails became convinced that Reznor played a living statue in a recent episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm.
