Tribes announce new album and tour dates for 2013
Indie four-piece have been recording in the legendary Sound City studios in LA
The band have also unveiled a brand new track 'Wrapped Up In A Carpet' which can be downloaded from their website.
Tribes have been recording the follow-up to their 2012 debut 'Baby' in Los Angeles' Sound City Studios, where the likes of Nirvana's 'Nevermind' and Arctic Monkeys' 'Suck It And See' were made.
Asked about their plans for his band's second album, singer Johnny Lloyd told NME previously: "We want to get the new album out early next year (2013). We've been talking with Island (their record label) about when we'll put it out. We started recording 'Baby' in April last year so we've had those songs for a long time. We want to be constantly on the road and the only way we can do that is by constantly putting stuff out. We've been working quite hard on a batch of songs for the new record. I'd like to get it out early next year, but I'm not sure the label will like that."
Tribes have also announced a string of live dates for early 2013. They will play:
Hull, Fruit (January 30)
Dunfermline, PJ's (31)
Preson, 53 Degree's (February 1)
Bedford, Esquires (2)
Gloucester, Guildhall (4)
Guilford, Boileroom (5)
