Turin Brakes to release 'Best Of'

Band appeal for fan suggestions for second disc in set

Turin Brakes are releasing a double CD 'Best Of' compilation to mark their 10th anniversary as a band.

The tracklisting for the first CD has already been decided, but the band want their fans to pick the songs that will go on CD2.

Fans can vote for three songs each from a list at the band's official website, Turinbrakes.com. Voting closes on June 19.

The tracklisting of CD1 will be:

'Painkiller (Summer Rain)'
'Underdog (Save Me)'
'Emergency 72'
'Long Distance'
'The Door'
'5 Mile (These Are The Days)'
'Feeling Oblivion'
'Average Man'
'Over And Over'
'Ether Song'
'Mind Over Money'
'Fishing For A Dream'
'Dark On Fire'
'Red Moon'
'Something In My Eye'
'Stalker'
'Last Chance'

I bought one of their Lps once. I think it was the first one. It had two good songs on it (tracks 2 and 3 above). Soon brought it to the record and tape exchange.

(To the comment above) Fool indeed!!They really are one of the best bands around. 10 years on and still going strong. Can't wait to hear it and the next new album too!
