TV On The Radio pull London show
The group were due to play at the London Scala tonight
TV On The Radio have pulled a show in London due to family bereavement.
The group were due to play at the London Scala tonight (November 17), but a statement issued by the band reveals that Tunde Adebimpe's father died unexpectedly.
He statement reads: “He has flown back to America to be with his family, and in the absence of their lead singer TV On The Radio are unable to play at The Scala this evening.”
However, Celebration will perform at 9pm, and the remaining members of TV On The Radio will be joining them onstage. The band will also do a DJ set, where they play new songs from their next record.
The statement continues: “All ticket holders are welcome to come to the show - the price of their tickets will be fully refundable (from point of purchase) whether they come or not. We would love it if as many people as possible could make it along to see a great band.”
