Line-up announced for Brooklyn pool parties

Yo La Tengo, Blonde Redhead and Ted Leo And The Pharmacists have been confirmed to headliner a string of free shows in Brooklyn this summer.

Taking place at McCarren Pool every Sunday, the shows are free, and in addition to the acts above, will include slots from Superchunk, Illinois, Man Man and TV On The Radio.

The JellyNYC Pool Parties kick off at McCarren Park Pool this Sunday, June 24 at 2pm with Superchunk and Brooklyn’s own Oakley Hall, and run every Sunday throughout the summer until August 19.

Formerly a dilapidated, drained pool in Brooklyn, the space was transformed last summer to create the first annual year of Pool Parties.
