TV On The Radio have announced the details of their highly anticipated forthcoming album.

The follow-up to 2006's 'Return To Cookie Mountain' is called 'Dear Science,' (the comma is part of the official title) and will be released in the UK on September 22 and a day later in the US.

The band have also announced that they will play a series of dates in the US later this summer, beginning in Portland on September 5 and concluding at the Treasure Island Festival in San Francisco on September 20.

The tour dates are:
