TV On The Radio watched by Bat For Lashes and Klaxons in London

US band play sold-out show in UK capital

TV On The Radio were watched by Klaxons and Bat For Lashes at their London show last night (November 20).

Jamie Reynolds and Natasha Khan looked on as the Brooklyn-based band showcased their new new album 'Dear Science' before a crowd who had snapped up all the tickets for the show in just three hours when they went on sale.

The five-piece, playing the last date of a short UK tour, played six songs from the new album, including the single 'Golden Age', 'Dancing Choose' and crowd favourite 'Shout Me Out'.

However TV On The Radio also included earlier material as they played three tracks were played from 2003's "official" debut EP 'Young Liars', including the title track, which kicked the set off.

I think 'Waste' summed it up. However, Bat For Lashes and TV On The Radio are pretty decent. The Klaxons, not so much.

they were really good at mcr academy 2 on monday. really loud, brilliant guitar playing, and an amazing drummer. no " i was a lover " or " ambulance" ... but 9/10 for me

I saw the gig. It was very hit and miss- yet people were going nuts over it- Im not sure why...The worst bits reminded me of bats for lashes type pretentious dirge, the best bits were a band playing great unique pop songs- they seem like a band that as time has gone on are determined to fuck up their own great songs by adding unnecessary bits of bullshit to them
