Alan Partridge’s ‘Mid Morning Matters’ confirmed to return for a second series

Steve Coogan will reprise his most famous creation for 12 more episodes

The new Alan Partridge spin-off show Mid Morning Matters With Alan Partridge will return for a second series, it was confirmed today (February 17).

Steve Coogan’s much loved character will return for 12 further episodes, each of which will last around 11 minutes.

The shows are based around the character’s radio show on North Norfolk Digital. It will be available to be watched on Fosterfunny.co.uk.

The show’s writer Rob Gibbons confirmed on his Twitter account Twitter.com/RobGibbons_last week that three new episodes have already been shot, writing: “Recording first three episodes of Mid-Morning Matters 2 next week. Alan tackles gang culture head-on.”

As well as Partridge, The Fast Show has also been revived on Fosterfunny.co.uk. Its second series began last night (February 16).

The full length film version of Alan Partridge remains in development and is rumoured to be going into production later this year.
