Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul play pawn shop owners in 'Barely Legal Pawn'

Breaking Bad stars Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul have been reunited on screen in a promo for next week’s TV Oscars, the Emmy Awards.

The six-minute video features the pair as pawn shop owners Buzz and Randy Jackson in a reality show spoof entitled Barely Legal Pawn.

The sketch also stars Julia Louis-Dreyfus as their customer trying to sell one of her awards. Louis-Dreyfus is up for an Emmy at this year’s awards for best lead actress in a comedy series for her role in Veep. She has previously won for her work on Seinfeld.

Cranston (pictured) and Paul are nominated for best lead actor and supporting actor in a drama series for their portrayals of Walter White and Jesse Pinkman in hit show Breaking Bad. The finale aired last September and the show has a total of 16 nominations. The ceremony for the 66th annual Emmy Awards will take place in Los Angeles on August 25.

Leading the race for glory at the annual gong show for American television HBO’s Game of Thrones has 19 nominations in the drama categories while the Netflix series Orange is the New Black is the leading comedy with 12.

As reported, Breaking Bad spin-off Better Call Saul is currently shooting and due to air early next year. The show’s creator Vince Gilligan has teased that characters from Breaking Bad, including Walt and Jesse, could return due to the shifting timeline of Better Call Saul. The show will play out as an origin story for Walt’s lawyer Saul Goodman, played by Bob Odenkirk.

Breaking Bad first aired in 2008 and followed the dark path of Walter White from chemistry teacher to underworld drug baron across five award-winning seasons.
