Bryan Cranston revives ‘Breaking Bad”s Walter White for cameo at EDM festival – watch

Actor appeared on stage during a set by British progressive trance trio Above & Beyond

Bryan Cranston briefly revived his Breaking Bad character Walter White for a surprise cameo at a Las Vegas EDM festival on Saturday night (June 20).

Cranston, sporting more hair than his Breaking Bad character, appeared on stage during a set by Above & Beyond, the British progressive trance trio who released a track called ‘Walter White’ in 2012. “Say my name!” Cranston roared at the crowd partying at Las Vegas’s Electric Daisy Carnival in classic Heisenberg-style. He then yelled, “You’re goddamn right! Walter White, Above & Beyond!” before pushing the button to start the track named after his Breaking Bad character. The following morning, Cranston tweeted that he was leaving Las Vegas after pulling “an all nighter”.

Meanwhile, Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan has recently suggested that Cranston’s Walter White will almost certainly make an appearance in spin-off series Better Call Saul. “It would be great to see Walter White on Better Call Saul,” Gilligan said earlier this month. “It would be a shame if the show had its run – hopefully a very long run – and he never appeared.”
