‘Game Of Thrones’ star Natalie Dormer ‘doesn’t give a fuck’ as she runs London marathon for charity

Margaery Tyrell actress raised over £5,000 in annual race

Natalie Dormer prepared for the return of Game of Thrones to TV by running the London marathon yesterday (April 24).

Dormer, who plays Margaery Tyrell in the his HBO series, hit the streets of London to compete in the annual 26-mile race. She completed it in 3 hours and fifty-one minutes, 30 seconds slower than she ran it in 2015.

Asked if she was disappointed that she had come in slower than a year ago, Dormer is quoted by The Telegraph as saying she didn’t “give a fuck” and was just happy to make money for her charity. “I’m here today because 3,000 children get in contact with ChildLine every day. And we don’t have enough money to talk to every single one of them.”

It is thought that 900 other runners were raising money for NSPCC at the marathon with over £2.3m made in total. Dormer raised £5,000 personally for the children’s charity.

Game Of Thrones returned to screens last night with Sky Atlantic screening the first episode of season 6 at 2am, to coincide with its US broadcast. A more sociable sreening of the episode will go out tonight at 9pm.

Showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss previously promised that S6 is “the best yet” and contains the biggest battle scene to date.

A number of spoilers have leaked ahead of S6, most recently when Ian McShane talked about the fate of his character after joining the cast for the new episodes.

McShane is not the only cast member to give away secrets this year. Sophie Turner revealed that her character Sansa Stark won’t be killed off in the series while Emilia Clarke may have revealed the fate of character Jon Snow at a recent awards ceremony.
