Gwyneth Paltrow unsure whether to return to ‘Glee’

Actress says producers will have to 'twist her arm' for her to reprise her role as Holly Holliday

Gwyneth Paltrow is unsure whether she will return to Glee next season.

The actress appeared in three episodes of the musical comedy series as substitute teacher Holly Holliday. The role provided a boost for her burgeoning singing career, as she performed Cee Lo Green‘s hit ‘Forget You’ at the Grammy Awards after singing it on the show.

But now she has said that it is not certain whether her character will make a reappearance in the third run. She told The Sun: “It’s the best job I ever had, but I don’t know if I should go back. They’ll have to twist my arm.”

Paltrow‘s role also caused controversy when her character performed ‘Do You Wanna Touch Me There?’ during a sex education lesson at William McKinley High. Although the song was made famous in the US by Joan Jett, it was a cover of a song by convicted paedophile Gary Glitter.

Paltrow recently made a surprise appearance onstage with the Glee Live! tour, once again singing ‘Forget You’. Watch her perform the song below.
