Larry King “flatly denies” groping allegations

US TV and radio host accused of two instances of sexual assault by Terry Richard

Larry King has denied allegations of sexual assault.

The veteran US television personality and radio host has been accused of groping by Terry Richard, who was married to singer and actor Eddie Fisher from 1975-76.

Richard told the Daily Mail that King groped her on two separate occasions – in 2005 and 2006, both at baseball awards dinners at Universal Studios in Los Angeles.

During the first incident, Richard alleges that King “slid his hand down from the middle of my back to putting his hand inside of my dress and it ended up with about three or four of his fingers in the crack of my ass” as they posed for a photo together.

She also said that during the second encounter King squeezed her bottom so hard that it left a bruise.

“Larry King is a groper,” Richard said. “He gets a thrill doing this in front of the camera, knowing I couldn’t do anything.”

In a statement provided to People, King said that he “flatly and unequivocally denies these claims” and “intends to file suit and prove that they’re utterly false.”

King’s attorney also reportedly told The Daily Mail: “That assertion is entirely and unequivocally false and defamatory. Mr King did no such thing then or ever.”
