Former child star ties the knot at an ‘intimate Manhattan ceremony’
Ex-child star Mary-Kate Olsen has reportedly married Olivier Sarkozy, the half-brother of former French President, Nicolas Sarkozy.
Olsen, 29, and Sarkozy, 46, have dated for three years and are thought to have got engaged in March 2014.
According to the New York Post, the pair tied the knot at an “intimate Manhattan ceremony” on Friday (November 27).
A source said that there were bowls “filled with cigarettes” at the ceremony and “everyone smoked the whole night”.
Sarkozy works as a banker. The pair live together in New York.
Discussing her wedding plans in May, Olsen told Women’s Wear Daily: “I’m like not even there yet.”
She added at the time: “That seems kind of far away. We’ll take one step at a time.”
Olsen rose to fame starring in ABC sitcom Full House from 1987 to 1995. She later appeared in two other sitcoms (Two Of A Kind and So Little Time) with her twin sister Ashley Olsen.
It was recently announced that Netflix are working on a sequel to Full House called Fuller House. It was later revealed that the Olsen twins would not reprise their roles, but recent reports claim that they are in talks with the producers.
