New ‘Beavis and Butt-head’ footage airs at Comic-Con

MTV duo return after 14 year absence

Beavis and Butt-head, the iconic cartoon teenagers of the ’90s, have returned to screens in a preview aired at this week’s Comic-Con.

In the video, which you can watch here, not much has changed for Beavis and Butt-head, with the pair still critiquing the latest shows in their own inimitable style.

In the clip, it’s Jersey Shore which gets the ‘funny-cos-its-true’ treatment, with Butthead commenting: “This is like a family tree, if your family was made of whores”.

The footage also shows the return of the beloved Cornholio, as Beavis overdoses on pain pills and is mistaken for the second coming. And yes, he still requires TP for his bunghole.

The video was shown at Comic-Com where, in a panel moderated by Jackass star Johnny Knoxville, Mike Judge talked about the return of the Metallica and AC-DC loving idiots.

Beavis and Butt-head ran for four years, between 1993 and 1997. In 1996 the duo made the leap to the big-screen with Beavis and Butt-head Do America.

The new episodes will air in October on MTV.
