‘SNL’ confirms huge musical guests for March shows

The US satire show will be soundtracked by a strong line-up next month

The star hosts and musical guests for next month’s run of SNL shows have been confirmed.

The US satire show has recently been off the air for a midwinter break, but returns on March 3. Dua Lipa and Halsey were among recent guests, while Natalie Portman and Jessica Chastain have both hosted this year.

Now, producers have announced who viewers can expect to see when the programme returns. The first episode back will see Migos perform, while returning British singer-songwriter James Bay will appear on March 10.

The line-up is completed by Arcade Fire, who will make their way to the New York set on March 17.

The three newly-confirmed guest hosts are former NBA player Charles Barkley, This Is Us star Sterling K. Brown, and comedian Bill Hader.

Meanwhile, Migos discussed losing to  Kendrick Lamar at the Grammys, arguing that they were “cheated”.

The trio were nominated for Best Rap Album for 2017’s ‘Culture’ and Best Rap Performance for ‘Bad And Boujee’, losing out on both counts to Lamar’s ‘DAMN.’ and ‘HUMBLE.’

Speaking to NME earlier this month, Offset said: “They cheated us.”

“There was nothing bigger than the fucking ‘Culture’ album this whole last year,” Quavo asserted. “They’re scared to handle the three-headed monster… Ooh! [But] we’ll be back next year… WE’LL BE FUCKING BACK NEXT YEAR.”
