Steve from ‘Stranger Things’ will shave his hair off on this one condition

Stranger Things actor Joe Keery has vowed to shave off his famous hairstyle on one particular condition.

Keery, whose character Steve Harrington has become a pop culture sensation for his hair and heroism in the latest season of the Netflix sci-fi hit, was talking to his co-star David Harbour when he offered him a wager.

Harbour, who plays Chief Jim Hopper in the show, made a post to Instagram to celebrate his Golden Globes nomination for the Best Supporting Actor Award.

“I tip my hat to Golden Globes for the nomination,” wrote Harbour. “My Christmas present came early this year. You got me feeling all the holiday feels.”

In the comments of the post, Keery then: “If you win David, Duffer’s [the creators of Stranger Things] get to shave my head (sic).”

Meanwhile, Stranger Things season 3 was recently confirmed – with hopes that it will be released by late 2018 or early 2019.

In December 2017 David Harbour said fans “probably won’t get [Season 3] until sometime in 2019” because the Duffer brothers “need time” to write it. “Those guys work so hard,” he said. “I mean, they just sit in their apartment and write for 12, 14 hours a day.”
