‘Stranger Things’ stars promise to attend fan’s birthday after his friends bail on party

Demogorgon blood punch for all

Millie Bobby Brown and Gaten Matarazzo have vowed to attend a fan’s birthday party next year after none of his school friends showed up for his Stranger Things-themed shindig this time round.

A Twitter user called Ayen recently shared photos from her brother’s party, which featured Stranger Things-style lights, cake and “demogorgon blood” punch.

Ayen wrote that her brother had invited eight of his classmates but “none of their punk selves showed up”.

The tweet got the attention of Brown, who plays Eleven in the hit Netflix show. Millie replied: “What!!!! Oh well you can let them all know that everyone on behalf [of] Stranger Things would’ve come!”

“I think [you’re] awesome,” she added, “and next year I would like an invite… Please?”

Gaten, who plays Dustin, also chimed in: “Count me in too! I’ll bring the chocolate pudding”.

It’s not the first time members of the Stranger Things cast have done something nice for fans. David Harbour, who portrays Jim Hopper, recently took school yearbook photos with a fan and has also promised to officiate another fan’s wedding.

Stranger Things season 2 aired on Netflix last October, with the show’s third season expected in either late 2018 or early 2019. Find out everything we know so far about season 3 here.
