‘The Apprentice’ viewers claim Sir Alan Sugar accidentally revealed the winner last night

Viewers suggest that the businessman's pointing finger gave the game away

Some viewers have suggested that Sir Alan Sugar gave away the winner of The Apprentice in last night’s penultimate episode.

Joseph Valente and Vana Koutsomitis made it through to this year’s final following a series of gruelling interviews last night (December 16), while Charleine Wain, Gary Poulton and Richard Woods were all cast aside by the mogul. Before the episode aired, Woods revealed that he hid his medical history and potentially endangered his health to secure his place on the show.

The penultimate episode concluded with a preview of this year’s final showing Valente and Koutsomitis anxiously awaiting their fate in the boardroom, followed by a shot of Sugar apparently pointing to the left, where Valente was sitting.

Several viewers then took to Twitter to claim that the businessman had inadvertently dropped a massive spoiler.

This year’s series of The Apprentice concludes on Sunday (December 21) at 9pm on BBC One, with the winner securing a £250,000 investment from Sir Alan Sugar.

Earlier in the series, candidate Selina Waterman-Smith – who has since been eliminated by Sugar – branded the show “crap” and “shameful” in a Twitter rant.
