‘The Walking Dead”s Norman Reedus pays tribute to Motörhead’s Lemmy with tattoo

TV's Daryl Dixon got ink alongside Mastodon guitarist Brent Hinds.

Norman Reedus, best known for portraying Daryl Dixon in The Walking Dead, has paid tribute to late Motorhead frontman Lemmy with a tattoo.

Reedus, who has starred in the post-apocalyptic zombie TV series since 2010, was recently pictured getting a tattoo with Mastodon guitarist Brent Hinds.

The pair visited the Abracadabra Tattoo shop in New Orleans over the weekend, with the tattoo parlour posting a photo to Instagram, along with the caption: “Just did a funny little Lemmy tattoo on Norman Reedus”. See below.

Following Lemmy’s death in December of last year, Dave Grohl similarly paid tribute to Lemmy by getting an ‘Ace Of Spades’ tattoo.

Reedus recently spoke about the time he was bitten by a Walking Dead fan at a convention for the show.

The Walking Dead is currently in its sixth season. It has been confirmed that the Season Six finale will be a 90-minute special.
