There’s a new Louis Theroux themed club night coming to a town near you

"We Gotta Get Theroux This"

To celebrate the cult heroism of one of the UK’s favourite documentarians, a new Louis Theroux themed club night is heading to a city near you.

‘We Gotta Get Theroux This’ has been set up by the ‘Lous Theroux Appreciation Tour‘, and will be hitting up clubs across the country after kicking off in London last weekend.

The event promises “wall to wall Theroux, along with club classics, giveaways, clips of the man himself and with all entrants receiving a free Theroux t-shirt on entry.

Speaking to NME last year, Theroux described an incident in which he tried to take a selfie with Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner.

“The most rock and roll thing I’ve ever done… I once met Alex Turner. I normally fly economy because I’m saving money for the license payer, but I got upgraded. Alex Turner from the Arctic Monkeys was there. I got a selfie with him. That’s the only time I’ve ever got a selfie with someone. He seemed totally bemused by who I was. And why not?

“I love Arctic Monkeys, so it’s a shame they’re not here tonight. I’m into Arcade Fire, Queens of the Stone Age, bands like that.”
