Series One of 'Breaking Bad' spin-off was released on DVD this week
A collection of bloopers and outtakes from the first series of Better Call Saul has been made available to watch online.
Season One of the Breaking Bad spin-off was released on Blu-ray and DVD this week (November 9) with the gag-reel among the extras.
In the clip below you can see Saul (Bob Odenkirk) tearing a phone out of the wall by mistake and struggling to undo his top button, as well as watch the set fall apart in an emotional hospital scene.
Meanwhile, ginger twins Cal and Lars Lindholm attract the attention of a a passing non-cast member with some over-the-top swearing.
The clip was shown as part of a Better Call Saul bingo night held at Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club in east London last night (November 12). A selection of competition winners tested their Breaking Bad knowledge in a quiz based on the cult TV show. Team names included The Ones Who Knock and Quiz-tle Meth. A round of bingo followed, and prizes included Breaking Bad dressing gowns and DVD boxsets.
Season One of Better Call Saul – a prequel to Breaking Bad set six years before Bryan Cranston’s Walter White meets Saul Goodman – aired on AMC in the US and Netflix in the UK earlier this year. The prequel was nominated for the prestigious Outstanding Drama Series prize at this year’s Emmy Awards, with both Odenkirk and co-star Jonathan Banks picking up acting nominations.
Season Two of Better Call Saul will premiere in early 2016 and feature 13 episodes – three more than season one. Creator Vince Gilligan recently revealed that he is keen for Walter White to make a cameo appearance in the prequel series, but declined to say when this might happen.
