‘Will & Grace’ stars reunite for Twitter selfies, hint at ‘I Love Lucy’ revival

Key cast members took photos and shared mysterious images on Twitter

The stars of hit US sitcom Will & Grace have reunited, sharing a number of selfies across the casts’ Twitter pages.

Debra Messing, who played interior designer Grace on the show, shared a group picture on Sunday morning, with the caption: “Only smiling because of where Eric’s [Will] hand is!”

She tagged her co-stars, Eric McCormack (lawyer Will Truman on the show), Megan Mullally (Grace’s ‘assistant’ Karen Walker), and Sean Hayes (Will’s friend Jack McFarland) in the image caption.

Several other reunion images have also been shared, including one of Messing hugging McCormack, with the caption: “You smell the same!”

Mullally posted a picture with Debra, saying they were having a “little girl-on-girl fun!”

Hayes and Mullally marked the reunion with a selfie captioned, “OMG, they’re here!”

McCormack said he was had “hung out with an old friend on Wednesday”, referring to Hayes.

The pictures have led fans to speculate the cast may be making a reunion episode of the show, which finished 10 years ago. Some of the images were clearly taken on a TV set.

Messing hinted that news of “something big” could be announced today.

McCormack shared an image of himself reading a script on the set.

The script is labelled ‘Hot Food’. Elsewhere on the stars’ social media feeds, the cast have shared images which read: “Hot Food” followed by the names ‘Ethel’ ‘Fred’ and ‘Lucy’, characters in the black and white sitcom I Love Lucy. It is therefore speculated that the cast could be coming together for a revival of the older show, rather than their own.

I Love Lucy ran for six full seasons between 1951 and 1957, and was extremely popular with American audiences. The sitcom was voted ‘Best TV Show Of All Time’ in a 2012 survey by ABC News and People Magazine.
