Open casting call announced for Dee Snider horror flick

An open casting call for the sequel to Dee Snider’s horror movie ‘Strangeland’ has been announced.

Snider’s partners in the project, Nehst Studios, announced the call which will be organised via www.screentest.biz. Starring alongside Snider will be Robert Englund, who played Freddie Kruger in the ‘Nightmare On Elm Street’ movies.

As previously reported, Twisted Sister frontman Snider is set to revisit his role as Captain Howdy.

‘Strangeland: Disciple’ comes 11 years after the original, and continues the story of a schizophrenic sexual sadist who lures victims via the Internet.

The soundtrack of the 1998 movie included the likes of System Of A Down, Slipknot, Kid Rock, Twisted Sister, Megadeth, Marilyn Manson and Pantera, and led to a 'Strangeland' tour.
