The Northern Irish band, who are set to headline this year's NME Awards Tour, told the Sun that they couldn't turn down the chance to work with the 'Born This Way' star.

Speaking about the collaboration, frontman Alex Trimble said:

She said we only had a week. That's not a lot of time, especially as we were on tour, but I couldn't turn down such an incredible opportunity. So we worked every single day and night and threw it together. I'm really proud of it.

Two Door Cinema Club released their debut album 'Tourist History' in 2010, and are set to hit the road with Metronomy, Tribes and Azealia Banks for this year's NME Awards Tour.

The tour will kick off at O2 Academy Glasgow on February 8, before taking in dates at Newcastle, Manchester, Nottingham, Leeds, Norwich, Birmingham, Cardiff, Bristol and Bournemouth, before culminating at O2 Academy Brixton London on February 25.
