Two Door Cinema Club have added two dates at Edinburgh's Corn Exchange and Wolverhampton's Civic Hall to their 2013 UK tour.

The Northern Irish band will now play the Corn Exchange on April 25 and Civic Hall on April 26 as part of their 13-date tour, which begins in January next year.

The first leg of the trek now begins at the O2 Academy in Newcastle on January 24 and runs until February 8 when the band headline London's O2 Academy Brixton. The run of shows also includes stops in Southampton, Nottingham, Cardiff, Birmingham, Aberdeen, Glasgow and Leeds.

The tour will then kick back into action in April with the Edinburgh and Wolverhampton shows before the band play London's Alexandra Palace on April 27, which will be their biggest ever UK headline gig.

The tour is in support of 'Beacon', which was released in September. The album is the follow up to 2010's 'Tourist History' and was recorded in Los Angeles in April with producer Jacknife Lee (Bloc Party, U2, REM) in his home studio.

O2 Academy Newcastle (January 24)
O2 Apollo Manchester (25, 26)
Southampton Guildhall (28)
Nottingham Rock City (29)
Cardiff University (31)
