U2 SELL OUT Get Tickets

Even the addition of a second London night can't satisfy the huge demand...

U2’s UK tour has completely sold out.

Tickets for the dates went on sale to the general public at 9am today. 260,000 were sold almost immediately, and led to the addition of a second show in London.

The band’s European tour promoter, John Giddings, said; "I am staggered by the response. The demand is unprecedented."

Tickets for the dates went on pre-sale via the U2.com website earlier this week, leading to complaints about the service. Ticketmaster eventually apologised, blaming "an incredibly high level of demand".

The band kick off their Vertigo 2005 world tour in San Diego on March 28 and, following 13 North American shows, begin the European leg of their tour in Brussels on June 10.
