U2 announce release date for 3D film
National Geographic film comes out in January

U2’s concert film, ’U2 3D’, will be released on January 25 in the UK.
As previously reported on NME.COM, the film was shot in South America during the band’s ’Vertigo’ tour of 2005 and 2006, and will be released by National Geographic Film Ventures.
'U2 3D' was co-directed by Mark Pellington, who directed the promo video for the band’s ’One’ single.
