U2 warn fans about 'fake' gig tickets
Band say they have no live shows planned
U2 have issued a statement to fans warning them not to buy tickets purporting to be valid for future shows – as the band have no live dates planned.
The band, writing on the U2.com, said that any such tickets were fake, and as such should not be bought by fans.
"Just a note to correct reports that tickets are becoming available for planned U2 shows," the statement read. "The reports are mistaken.
"There are no tour dates for the band at the moment - so please don't buy tickets for U2 shows you see advertised."
