U2 are set to announce details of an enormous world stadium tour that will see them play live dates until the end of 2010.
According to Billboard the tour will be announced on Monday (March 9) then begin in Barcelona on June 30.
The band will tour Europe until August 22, then begin the US leg on September 12 at Soldier Field in Chicago. The US leg will end on October 28, with the band set to continue with live plans until the tail end of next year, when the tour may hit South America.
The shows will see the band playing in the centre of the stadiums with the audience around them and will feature a cylindrical video screen. Prices for the tour will reportedly begin at $30 (£21).
"It's hard to come up with something that's fundamentally different, but we have," claimed guitarist The Edge. "Where we're taking our production will never have been seen before by anybody, and that's an amazing thing to be able to say."
U2 recently released a new album, 'No Line On The Horizon' and are set to release another, 'Songs Of Ascent', before 2009 ends.
