The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has confirmed rumours that a massive concert will take place to celebrate its 25th anniversary.
The event will be staged over two nights and so far Bruce Springsteen, Aretha Franklin, U2, Stevie Wonder, Metallica and Eric Clapton are confirmed to perform.
Rumours that Paul McCartney, Simon and Garfunkel and The Eagles will play are so far unfounded, but further acts will be confirmed in the time leading up to the event.
The shows will take place on October 29 and 30 at Madison Square Garden in New York, and different bands will perform each night.
Stay tuned to NME.COM for further announcements.
