U2's three upcoming 'Best Of' albums will be launched with the November 2 release of 'U2: The Best Of 1980-1990'.

The 15-track compilation charts the band's career from 1980's 'Boy' LP through to the Americana-tinged R&B of 1989's 'Rattle And Hum'.

The confirmed tracklisting is: 'Pride (In The Name Of Love)' (off 'Unforgettable Fire'), 'New Year's Day' ('War'), 'With Or Without You' ('The Joshua Tree'), 'I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For' ('The Joshua Tree'), 'Sunday Bloody Sunday' ('War'), 'Bad' ('The Unforgettable Fire'), 'Where The Streets Have No Name' ('The Joshua Tree'), 'I Will Follow' ('Boy'), 'The Unforgettable Fire' ('The Unforgettable Fire'), 'Desire' ('Rattle And Hum'), 'Angel Of Harlem' ('Rattle And Hum'), 'When Love Comes To Town' ('Rattle And Hum'), 'Sweetest Thing', and 'All I Want Is You' ('Rattle And Hum').

'Sweetest Thing', originally intended for inclusion on the band's 15 million-selling 1987 album 'The Joshua Tree', was a B-side to 'Where The Streets Have No Name' in an early version. The song has now been completed this year with producer Steve Lillywhite.

No details on the second of the three compilations promised, believed to be a B-sides and rarities set, have been released. Polygram sealed the triple release deal with a bid of US$50 million.

This first U2 compilation is expected to be one of the biggest-selling albums of the decade. Of the 15 tracks, seven have been in the UK Top 10, with 'Desire' a UK Number One and 'With Or Without You' and 'I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For' reaching Number One in the US.
